Giant Relaxing Floating Mat

I wish we could give this 6 stars - it is the absolute best! Movie night in the pool? Perfect float to keep dry on top even with pillows and blankets Playing games? Perfect float to climb on top, stand and have fun Little one getting used to the water? Keep it as dry or wet as you’d prefer Easy to inflate? Yes! You can use a paddle board pump manual or electric, or any other pump - which makes it super quick and easy. Holds air? Yup! We filled it once two months ago and it’s stayed filled! It’s super high quality and the seams hold. This float is just simply the best.

As I was blowing this up this thing was so huge that I couldn't imagine it not just folding in when we go to get on it...as you can see it held 8 people and had room for more. Kids can walk on it... adults were getting a core work out trying to stay up standing on it. We fold it into 4 to store it. It has been a month and we have not had to refill it with air. The dog has freedom to walk around on it. We leave it half on the edge so the dog can come and go back on pavement. It's the favorite floatie. My husband jumped off the edge of pool onto the raft while i was on it....it folded a little but i did not fall off. If you lay on your side, it conforms a little to your pose by sinking a little in spots and letting water on it which makes it comfortable instead of stiff and dry. So fun! UPDATE: I left it outside all winter and did not have to re-inflate it the next season. It finally punctured a hole during the 2nd season but I cut it in half with scissors because it has a blow up valve on each side. I will order another one.

I ended up buying three of these giant floats for our pool for three reasons. 1. The squirrels like to eat pecans right above one section of the pool and they make a huge mess. I put one of these in that area during squirrel-munching times and it catches those pecan bits real good. They also catch leaves in a couple of leafy spots. 2. These guys take up a lot of real estate and slow evaporation, and 3. Pool floating fun. Anyway, I bought these in "used" condition from Amazon because who cares, as long as they work and they were about 20 bucks cheaper. One was kind of dirty and clearly used and did not have the ropes. The other two looked pretty new and had the ropes. They all inflated quickly and easily with the inflator.

This is great- I love it! My sister suggested it after she purchased it, and it was such a great price, I purchased it too! I love it for laying out in my pool on my stomach- which I usually hate doing, but this keeps you somewhat wet and cool with the way the water pools on top. It also is forgiving in my belly and boob area, which I recently had radiation on, so my boob is hard and uncomfortable- but it forms just perfectly and keeps me comfortable! I had to figure out a pillow on it but finally settled with one from my outdoor couches. Without one, when I was face down, I did snort in a little water!

For under$40 I have to admit I was willing to pay for this but skeptical that this would Really hold more than one person and not fold up like a taco. But, alas, once we got it inflated, we carried it down steps into the shallows of the Chesapeake Bay! Tied it out to our buoy and we lay there floating In the cool breeze for a few hours! Inflating definitely takes the proper equipment, not only an air Compressor but the right nozzle or air gun attachment. It took 2 of us about 15-20 mins to set up the gear and get it to be fully inflated. The flotation itself is not “stiff” but supple enough to roundly fold it to carry about—texture of material is not velvety or sueded but not really cheap plastic either—thinking of child arm floats! It’s much more sturdy that I thought and not “slippery” at all once in the water. There are four 8-10” ropes that attach to each corner but really since they interlock, you need to just tie two of the corners and use the connectors and end ropes to fasten To your OTHER source be it anchor, boat, another flotation. Two of us, not inordinately heavy people admittedly, lay on this quite comfortably, moved around, sat up, turn over, etc without any balance issues at all. Three adults would be comfortable, four may be cozy. We didn’t try to sit cross-legged and play cards or anything!! But for hanging out, it was great. Yes, I agree with another reviewer, they need to make pillows, like big wedges to lean against! Awesome and fun. Seems durable but frankly if it lasts only three summer months, for $40 investment, I’m Sold!
